When most buyers go into home search mode - they may wind up with 50+ listings to see. It should go without saying that's too many properties to see first hand if you're limited on time! I can help you to narrow your search down to a couple dozen houses, with these tips in mind:
- Before you get here, send me a couple of lists: One should be of things you require in your new home. The other should be for optional things you want. When a house doesn't even meet your needs, we can obviously eliminate it from the list.
- Know your budget. If you are going to get a home loan, know your pre-approved amount beforehand so we can eliminate homes which exceed your price range.
- Consider drive time to your job or other interests. Traffic in the Oakland area could be different than what you're accustomed to, so tell me how long a commute you're willing to undertake.
I can send you my best recommendations before we meet in person. Or you may already have some favorite listings you could share with me as a result of your own research. While seeing listing photos on the web is great, there's nothing like visiting homes in person. Let me set up any necessary appointments with other Realtors or homeowners and map a route.
