Harold C. Thomas Jr. is a Bay Area Realtor and Principal Broker of Thomas-Chambers Company.
Raised in a real estate household, Harold was exposed early to the realities of property ownership, management, and brokerage operations. Working alongside his father, the firm’s founder, he gained firsthand experience in renovations, property preparation, contracts, and client representation—learning not just how transactions close, but how properties perform over time.
An Oakland native, Harold brings deep local knowledge shaped by hands-on work across a wide range of neighborhoods and property types. His experience spans property management, residential/commercial renovations, and investment-focused transactions, offering clients a practical, well-rounded perspective whether they are buying, selling, or planning for long-term ownership. His work primarily serves Oakland and East Bay neighborhoods including Rockridge, Montclair, Temescal, Berkeley, Emeryville, Alameda, San Leandro, and Hayward, with additional perspective gained from having lived in other major markets earlier in his career.
Harold holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and earned his California Real Estate Broker License after completing additional real estate studies locally.
Beyond real estate brokerage, Harold is also a co-owner of Thomas-Adams, a licensed, Alameda County–contracted nonprofit residential care facility supporting adults with mental health needs. While not involved in its day-to-day operations, his role reflects a broader commitment to housing stability, community stewardship, and long-term care within the East Bay.
Known for his steady, approachable style, Harold believes real estate works best when clients feel informed, supported, and confident—guided with clarity and responsiveness, without unnecessary pressure. His focus remains on preparation, transparency, and helping clients move forward decisively when timing matters.
